On Monday night during the SJTCA Meet #14 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, NY Austin Gabay, Martin Riddell, and Ethan Wechsler rewrote the New Jersey 3200m rankings.
After a race long battle that involved multiple lead changes Austin Gabay charged ahead late to run a NJ#1 time of 9:15.90, Riddel was second at 9:17.62, and Ethan Wechsler third at 9:20.37. When including converted two mile times Riddell and Wechsler rank NJ#3 and #4.

Marco Morales of Delsea cleared 16-00 for a big PR performance in the pole vault. Morales joins five others as the only six to clear 16-00 indoors in the pole vault! What a year for this event in NJ.
Jewel Ash of Eastern Regional posted a NJ#1 8.15 in the 55m hurdles and came back to post a 7.26 NJ#9 performance in the 55 dash moments later! On top of that her 25.25 win in the 200m dash broke into the top five in the state now NJ#3 on the season.
Sarah Naticchia of Haddonfield and Kingsway's Allie Pierontoni battled to times of 2:17.00 and 2:17.21 to move into NJ#5 and #7.
Tierra Hooker matched her state leading height of 5-08 before making attempts at 5-09, she also finished third in the 55H finals running 8.51. Madison Cappuccio also clearing 5-06 for the second time ranked NJ#4.
Liz Makar added her eighth meet with a 40+ footer to her great season with a winning throw of 43-04.25 in the shot put.
Floyd Whitaker of Highland Regional jumped 23-0.5 in the long jump to move up to NJ#2.
Nate Karl of Hammonton threw 55-07.75 which is good for NJ#6 on the season.
